Returning for its 42nd season, This Old House will kick off with four, new thematic “Behind the Build” episodes showcasing favorite audience topics: Designing Kitchens, Factory Made, Memorable Makers and Anatomy of a Kitchen. Then it’s off to Narragansett, Rhode Island where a Queen Anne Seaside Victorian Cottage restoration begins…and begins again. After a delay due to COVID-19, the This Old House cast of experts team up with Sweenor Builders to renovate the 1887 Queen Anne Victorian and to return this old house back to its Gilded Age beauty. Ask This Old House returns for season 19 with 26 new episodes including building a deck, how to prevent plumbing disasters, repairing walkways, preparing for different climates and more. Building off of the popular Ask This Old House, the Ask This Old House podcast will debut to answer home improvement questions from homeowners across the United States. Hosted by This Old House Editor Chris Ermides, season 1 features 15 episodes of trusted advice from This Old House experts including Tom Silva, Richard Trethewey, Jenn Nawada, Charlie Silva, Ross Trethewey, Mauro Henrique, Mark McCullough, and Heath Eastman. Topics include how to kill off weeds organically, how to control the temperature in an attic, how to install a ceiling fan, how to fix patio pavers, how to replace wood stair treads, and more. Two episodes will drop on Thursday, October 1, and then an episode will drop every Thursday through December 31.
